Born Pius Mayanja, Pallaso is also young brother to one of Africa’s top musicians and Leone Island crew Boss Jose Chameleone. Hit Songs like ‘Go Down Low’ and ‘Mundongo’ where he features dance-hall Diva Sheebah helped put him up on the music map and are still taking him places now like Istanbul Turkey where he is currently.
Pallaso is undoubtedly one of the fastest rising artistes in Uganda, his seriousness and hard work has propelled and sold him big in the Ugandan music industry.
He has also been a busy man of late. The ‘Go Down Low’ hit maker has been working on projects for example the release of his latest songs ‘Bubble’ and ‘Nishike’ video on which he features fellow dance-hall star Beenie Gunter. Talking about being busy, Pallaso is currently in Turkey’s capital Istanbul where he had gone to perform at a show which how ever did not happen and was cancelled due to some misunderstandings with the organizers.
Although he was disappointed in the whole confusion, this did not deter him, he went ahead to organize a free concert for his fans at G 1O club in Istanbul.
“Turkey Istanbul Friday show got cancelled because of some misunderstandings between organizers but tonight me and G10 management or you guys call it former Habesha have decided to arrange and give back … Yes I am doin a FREE show and yes FREE show for all my Ugandan, Nigerian, All African and Turkish brothers ====> FrEE !! Tonight !! Just come out in big numbers let’s have a wonderful time” Said Pallaso in a message from Istanbul yesterday.
Our sources say yesterday he went ahead and arranged for the free show for his fans to make up for the inconveniences the cancelled concert caused them. We are still gathering details of how things transpired and will keep you posted as soon as we have all the details.
