Kenya’s Eliud Cheptei won the 2015 MTN Kampala marathon yesterday in an impressive two hours 19:55 minutes in the 42 kilometer event, while making his second appearance at the MTN Kampala Marathon after finishing second in 2010.
Joseph Biwott also from Kenya, took second position as the neighbours dominated the main events for both the men’s and women’s races with Peter Kibet the best placed Ugandan who finished third.
