Going by the overwhelming crowd we saw at the first ever ‘Mixakids In Business Expo ‘ organised by SMS ONE and MixaKids, we  are comfortable to say that organisers have more reasons to begin doing it annually. Last Saturday the 11th of November, all roads led to Kitante Primary School where this sold out, fun filled and edutainment expo successfully took place.

The day kicked off on a good note with parents, guardians and care takers crowding at the school’s entrance bringing their children for this experience. Being a children expo, it did not stop parents from being part of it as some activities to engage the old people were as well.

Apart from just being an expo where children had fun, interacted with fellow children and played games, it was not just about that. There was a fully stocked ICT room where children were taught more skills on using computers as well as two reading zones where children read different kids’ content books under supervision

Attended by the Assistant Commissioner for private schools and institutions Mr Mutekanga George who was representing for the guest of honour Hon Rose Mary Senninde the State Minister for Primary education among other distinguished guests, the expo that was hosted by Power FM’s Ronnie Habasa boasted of performances from young singers like Baby Gloria, Rokimi Girl, Waka Stars Band, Penzie, Julie Amba without forgetting more performances from pupils from some of the schools that attended.

The expo was proudly sponsored by School Pay, UgCert, MixaTeenz, EazyTicket among others
