Photos: What You Missed At The MTN Marathon 2017

A special round of applause goes to MTN Uganda for the dedicated heart towards bringing marathoners together through the years with the famous MTN Kampala Marathon. We can’t forget to also thank all the participants who paid Ug Shs 25.000 each to participate and this money will used to combat the exposure of school going children to cancer caused by asbestos roofing in Kampala and improving maternal health services at Kiswa and Komaboga Health centres.

On Sunday the 19th of November, people from different walks of life everyone in their respectively dignity once again gathered at Kololo Independence Grounds for the 2017’s ‘MTN Kampala Marathon’ which had 3 categories (42, 21 and 10 kilometers) and was flagged off by the Kampala Capital City Authority Executive Director Jennifer Musisi at 7 AM

With a theme dubbed ‘Represent Your Cause’ and hosted by comedian Salvado, it was a fun filled event that did not boat of only running for the above mentioned cause but also had artistes and comedy performances from Artistes like Jose Chameleone, Pastor Wilson Bugembe Winnie Nwagi, Gravity Omutujju, Kapalaga Baibe, Geosteady and comedians Mad Rat and Chiko.
