Friday night the 5th of May was a night to remember for the founders, members and well wisher of the youth-led charity organisation 40 Days Over 40 Smiles as they celebrated its 5th anniversary at a glamorous VIP dinner dubbed #4040At5 held at Kampala Serena Hotel’s Victoria Hall.

Since 2012, this organisation has been a stepping stone for vulnerable children and communities to access quality, all-round education support and entrepreneurial training aimed at self-sustainability. Marking 5 years was truly required and we have to say congratulations to them because the work they do speaks for itself.

The dinner was just not about revellers eating and having a good time but also acted as a fundraising event where attendees were expected to fundraise money for the organisation’s cause of ‘Be the change you want to see in the world’

Apart from fundraising, there were other activities that took place like music performances from artistes Naava Grey, Ruyonga, Canaan Gents, Sandra Suubi and Afrie.

Below is how the #4040at5 dinner went down through the Chano8 lens
