Photos: Singer Cooper And Gway Light Up 5th Edition Of Gospel Rendezvous

Despite the non-stop rain that took the city by storm last Saturday, a good crowd turned up for the fifth edition of the ‘Gospel Rendezvous’ organized by Feezah Entertainment.

The show was hosted by Power FM’s energetic John Nkore and Dj Allan kept the house warm with great gospel music mixes as the revellers waited the start of the show.

Cooper and G-Way who were the main acts took to the stage in a big way with a team of great vocalists and energetic dancers that fully engaged the audience. They kick started the show with their famous song, ‘Okilola Otya’ and went ahead to sing more songs like ‘Meme Yange’, ‘Makondere’, ‘Emigugu Gyo’ among others. Their all-time favorite songs, ‘Kambelenawe’, ‘Big God’ and others got the whole crowd up and dancing with energy for the Lord.

Cooper prophesied onto the crowd in both song and word. He cautioned the people to come to such events not only to have fun but to also come with an expectancy to be blessed by God. He also shared his life story about embracing salvation and discovered his talent of singing while he was in S.4, dropping out of school at some point, having a dysfunctional family but most importantly how God came through for him and his family at their moment of need.

He emphasized that if you want the best pleasures in life, keep by God’s side. If you want the best deals in life, make them with the Lord. He never cheats, He never fails and He remains faithful even when you are not.

The show was blessed to have a team of six ladies coming in from Precious Life Health Care International from U.S.A just to catch the show before heading to Jinja for a medical camp outreach. It was indeed a good show and the one scheduled for September (6th edition) is surely one not to be missed.
