The Ultimate Pool Party returned at Naguru-based Machame Bar and Restaurant on Saturday and with gates opening as early as 3pm, Kampala Party animals had all the free time to relax at the pool side with some preferring to deep their tired bodies i the cool waters to get first hand refreshment.
However, as the saying goes, music is medicine for the soul and for revellers who were at the Party hosted by Rap master The Mith, this was the perfect evening for the weekend’s getaway. And the cool environment up Naguru hill provided the perfect ambivalence.
The early serene mood at the pool then turned into party mood as the sun set with revellers gathering in small groups to share intimate jokes and laugh off the week’s stress.
The night was even more fun-filled as the neon lights glowing in the quiet Naguru hill environs signalled it was time for partying. And partying in silence as the experience was personal.
The serene silent disco experience gave revellers the ultimate soul-fulfilling feeling as they were treated to hours of four-music channels hosted by eight Almost Famous Djs who were feeding their crowd with tunes of Dancehall, Reggae, Urban music and Old School Channels that kept the crowd bobbing their heads to the beats.
The Mith and party masterminds Wagga and Jagen did not disappoint as they encouraged guests to try out each of the channels that played, with the crowd’s favourite being the Urban Music channel on the red channel as many spent their time hooked up there.
It was a night for many to kick back and relax with friends with Tusker Lite on board to lite up the night with drinks flowing throughout the silent party rave. Party animals also indulged in freshly roasted muchomo and took the chance to enjoy themselves to the brim all night long in one thrilling musical experience.
As the night matured, so did the fun and the DJ’s kept the talk to the minimum and the music to the maximum with the party continued deep into the wee hours of Sunday morning.
