President Yoweri Museveni Contributes UGX. 30M Towards Radio’s Treatment

Tubonga Naawe Artists approach President Yoweri Museveni over singer Radio’s medical bill as he extends a Ugx30m contribution.

It’s been now a week and ever since Singer Radio was beaten to coma and admitted at Case Hospital. It was reported that the singer was beaten from a bar in Entebbe and circumstances surrounding his beating are still mysterious.

Immediately he was admitted at Case Hospital last Monday night, he went through a head operation which cost around UGx 17m to remove a blood clot. Reports indicated that the first and second operation cost much more money.

Radio is admitted in Case Hospital n critical condition.

Through Music Promoter Balaam Barugahare, the management of Goodlyfe organised a move to approach the President for a financial help. Yesterday Evening Balaam using his Facebook page announced that the President had listened to their pleas and extended UGx30m to partly cater for Radio’s medication. He says he handed it over to Case Clinic Management.

His post read;

“Thank you Mr President YK Museveni for the financial contribution of 30,000,000 Ugx paid direct this evening to case medical centre to cater for part of Mozy Radio medical bill we are proud to have you as a father of our country long live”. 

Balaam together with Bebe Cool and Catherine Kusasira approached the president for help.
