Dance-Hall music is doing pretty well on the Ugandan music industry with many artistes taking on this Jamaican origin genre that has so far seen some of their careers grow to greater heights and making big names for themselves in this challenging music industry. It is so safe to say that dance-hall music is booming in Uganda although much has to be done to be able make dance-hall music have more hype to international levels.
Kent and Flosso aka Voltage music is an upcoming and promising dance-hall duo which is so serious on what they do, in doing this, they recently unveiled their new video entitled ‘Tom and Jerry’. The Duo is signed to ‘Sound Prints’ record label and they have been singing together since 2008 when Kent got introduced to Flosso while working on a track dubbed ‘Stranger’ when they were still in their high school. They also did a collabo hit song with gospel artiste Levixone dubbed ‘Blanket’ which was a hit for the year 2009.
‘Tom and Jerry’ is a song whose audio was produced by producer D-King and the video shot by Nani Artistic Him Self. It’s a love song with a simple story line basically talking about playing games and making love in the night. It has a good print and graphics, so far it’s doing well on You Tube in just one day of its release. We wish the Duo the very best as they push their singing career to greater heights.
