When two great artistes come together on a project, rest assured it will be magic. The latest we are getting is that Maddox will not only be sharing a stage with Jamaican musician Tarrus Riley, but he’s also slated to record a song with him even before the show.
The Ugandan musician has taken ages without recording a song and has been surviving on those he recorded over 15 years ago with reasons that no Ugandan studio can produce the way he wants and with Riley who is believed to be one of the great musicians from Jamaica, their upcoming song is worth waiting for.
“Tarrus Riley was extremely impressed by Maddox’s deep reggae beats; he asked if it would be nice for the two of them to work on something together,” the source from Bolt Digital, a company behind the show in on December 1st confirmed.
Tarrus Riley is famed for tracks like Sorry is a sorry word’, She’s royal, Gimme likkle one drop and lately Just the way you are while Maddox is the man behind jams like ‘Namagembe’, Abaato, Easy, Irene and Omuyimbi among others.
