The first 3 editions of Roast and Rhyme were successful as Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo was filled with party goers from all walks of life but the 4th edition promises to be even bigger and better. Roast and Rhyme is an event where revelers enjoy live music and Barbecue by the lake side in a picnic setting.
Slated for the 2nd of next month, Roast and Rhyme is both going to have first timers and second timers. Kenneth Mugabi of the ‘Naki’ fame is returning for the second time while Janzi Band, Naava Grey and new kid on the block Ykee Benda are going to be performing on that stage for the first time.
This edition of the event is dubbed ‘Story Tellers’ and it’s going to be exciting both on stage and in the crowd as revelers will be allowed to come with their charcoal stoves and roast their own meat, maize, and other things they would like to.
Like it has always been before, entrance will still be at shs50,000 and the event will be starting at midday with many expected to turn up with their families too.
The first editions had musicians like Maddox, Bebe Cool, Benon and Vampino, Irene Ntale and Babaluku among others but they all got an overwhelming reception from the audience.
