- This was his first Ever concert

- Honourable Ssentamu Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine and Sheebah Karungi performed
Last Friday night the 8th of December had lots of events happening and among them was Team No Sleep’s Ragga artiste Roden Y aka Kabako’s first ever concert dubbed ‘Kabako Sitani Tonkema’ that successfully took place at the Centenary Park based Laftaz Lounge’s Poolside. When he takes to the stage, he sets it on fire with his energy not forgetting jumping up and down hitting the stage floor hard with his feet.
He proved his worth as he performed to his encouraging number of fans who gathered at venue to see he had prepared for them from the time he announced the concert date. He made his way to the stage amid lots of ululations from revellers who were shouting ‘Kabako Kabako’ at 12:21 AM. With no waste of time, he began off singing songs ‘Endeku’, ‘Diana’, ‘Akasolo’ collabo alongside Diamond Oscar, ‘Easy ‘and ‘Kampala’
The fans were super excited as he performed and kept on cheering him especially when he uttered some English statements saying thank you to the crowd and concert sponsors before going for a short break. He later returned to finalise his performance with more songs ‘Nanfuka’, ‘Number Emu’ and finally the fans favourite ‘Sitani Tonkema’ collabo with Sheebah and Fic Fameica.
Sheebah who had earlier showcased before him came back on stage to join Kabako and together they thrilled the crowd as they performed ‘Sitani Tonkema’ which the concert was named after. However, due the energy Roden Y showcases on different stages he has been at, some fans were worried he would fall in the water basing on a fact the stage was a narrow run way on top of the swimming pool, just like how events at Laftaz Lounge be.
On the other hand, MC Vypa who was the host kicked off the concert at few minutes after 9 PM with live Dj Mixes from Dj Andy to warm up the revellers before time for lots of artistes who curtain raised for Roden Y. These performed until 12: 21 AM the time he (Roden Y) took to stage although revellers were worried that Kampala Capital City Authority would interrupt the event since outdoor events are not allowed to exceed midnight. This did not happen however.
Team No Sleep’s Sheebah, Chozen Blood, Topic Kasente, Diamond Oscar were among the curtain raisers as well as Fire Base’s Bobi Wine with his crew members Nubian Li, Mikie Wine, Zex Inchkumi Bilangi Laangi, Dax Vibes and Nash Rhymes. More performances were of artistes Frenzy, GB Maswagga, Emitti Munno, Alcapone Boch, Culture, Barbi Jay, New York, Victor Kamenyo, B2C, Tip Swizzy, Becky 256, Lady Mariam Tindatiine, Geosteady, Lydia Jazmine, Spice Diana.
Being his first ever concert and the size of the venue it took place at, we are comfortable to say that the ‘Kabako Sitani Tonkema Concert’ was the a success going by the crowd we saw last Friday night.
