Musician Sheebah Karungi launched her new hair business at an event that saw about 30 people in attendance last Sunday at The Prism next to E- Tower building in Kampala.
The musician teamed up with a company called Natna to form this business and it’s called Sheebah by Natna and deals in hair pieces that range from Ug Shs 150,000 to 250,000.
This explains the various hair styles she pulls off these days and she said she chose to venture in hair because she is a feminist who was brought up by a single mother which is why she wants to empower single mothers out there.
Sheebah also explained that she started this business to give a chance to those people who can’t afford hair pieces worth Ug Shs 1 million to slay in the same pieces at an affordable price.
“Different stores in Kampala have been selling us wigs at millions of shillings but I have decided to bring pieces at a cheaper price” Sheebah said.
The ‘Nkwatako’ musician also hinted that she will not be singing all her life and that venturing in this kind of business will be the other way she will be surviving.
It was an invite only all-black event which also saw artistes Vinka, Winnie Nwagi, Diamond Oscar and Roden Y supporting the diva.
