Owning a studio can help an artiste improve their works and have access to recording facilities easily every time they desire and that is perhaps the main reason why self-proclaimed R&B kyabazinga Maro has finally joined studio owners in Uganda.
The artiste has embarked on a studio as his other investment and he decided to name it ‘Humble records’. “We decided to start up our own studio, it’s called Humble records. We are both an audio and video production house. We did this to ease my work as an artiste and at the same time make some money from it by recording music for other artistes.” Maro told us.
The studio that is already operational is situated in Makindye Luwafu near Crested Senior Secondary School and according to Maro, it cost him over 20million shillings to start it off.
He further revealed that he has already hired Saidi Soft, a little known producer from Jinja as the resident producer at his studio and studio sessions go for Shs 300,000 at the moment.
