Ugandan born ragga and dancehall artiste SK Simeon who is based in Melbourne-Australia is another fast rising Ragga Muffin whose songs like ‘Round Of Applause’ are slowly by slowly earning mileage on the music scene. The multi talented singer released another ragga tune dubbed ‘Ekitibwa Kyabakyala’ literally meaning ‘Women’s Respect’ in which he expressed respect and care for women.
“The inspiration came from the reality I see when I travel around society. Governments have to re enforce more women rights not just some of them. I am a person who believes in equality”. SK Simeone told Chano8 from Australia when we contacted him for a comment.
‘Ekitibwa Kyabakyala’ is a ragga song with a big base line, in which SK Sings saying that women are number one in the world’s foundation. In one of the lines, he says that he sings for women and respects them at that. He also advises men to treat their women right and youth to respect their mothers.
It was recorded by producer Hannz and and mastered by King Toppa based in Kassel Germany. He sang the song in Luganda and Jamaican Patois languages and promises to shoot it’s video soon. Simeon is also one of the Ugandan artistes who are raising the Ugandan flag high in the Diaspora.
