The past two editions of Roast and Rhyme have been exciting with Slay Queens dominating the side show especially at the Reggae as well as the Story Tellers’ Editions. If you still do not know what we are talking about, then you must be living in a different world. I mean who doesn’t know those girls who compete for attention with the real action happening on stage? The ones who spend most of the time at a concert either making up or just admiring themselves and taking selfies to share with their ‘fans’ on social media.
Anyway what Am trying to say is that, when the party returns on Sunday 29th October, there will be all sorts of fun for the revellers from Live music to Nyama Choma, Mixing and mingling with old friends as well as a family day out in a beautiful, relaxing picnic set-up by the lake side at the Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo.
The organisers have promised more interesting artistes and performances in Soul, Afro Pop and live instrumentation as well as some Afro-Jazz music for the fans. The list of artistes to headline will soon be availed but promises to be as exciting as ever and Chnao8 will keep you updated.
