Speke Resort Munyonyo Nominated For Ekkula Tourism Awards

Speke Resort Munyonyo is on the verge of being named the Best Service/Luxury Standard Hotel after getting nominated in the Ekkula Pearl of Africa Tourism Awards and Exhibition. The awards giving ceremony will take place on 12th February, 2016, at Hotel Africana.

Speke Resort Munyonyo, one of the best hotels in Uganda, is graded as a 4-star hotel in Kampala, Uganda offering the ultimate in luxury accommodation and leisure facilities with the finest conference and business meetings.

The hotel is situated in an idyllic setting in Munyonyo, 30 minutes away from Kampala City- the capital of Uganda, and by the shores of Lake Victoria, giving it a magnificent view of the prestigious hotel.

He described the nomination as ‘a great honor’ and was confident that they will win the award because ‘the team has worked hard to maintain standards and excellence’. The hotel has received numerous awards in the past because of their good works in the hospitality industry.

They will be competing against Serena Hotel, Sheraton Hotel and Imperial Royale.

Speke Resort is owned by Sudhir Ruparelia under the Ruparelia Group of Companies. As A group, Ruparelia Group got two other nominations, one as Best Supporting Corporate Company and another as Best Tourism Investor.
