Following the success of the previous events, yesterday’s edition of the Club Dome event powered by Club took place at Makerere University Rugby grounds amid a big crowd of mostly Makerere university students and other well-wishers. As early as 7:30 PM the venue’s entrance was already full of youths fidgeting to make their way in.
Music was playing to keep a few attendees warmed up until Dj Dash took over the wheels of steel and put the ever swelling crowd into a frenzy. Talk about the best live Dj music mixes.
The night’s performances later commenced at 9:15 PM with artistes from Makerere University like J-Watts, Miller and X Bishop. Shortly after, Luga Flow artiste Fefe Busi took to the stage thrilling the crowd as he sang his song ‘Ntondo’ before dancer Eddy Wizzy wowed the crowd more with his energetic and eye-catching strokes.
The next session of entertainment saw Dj Aludha take the turn tables too doing the live mixes which the crowd danced to and later another Luga Flow singer Fik Fameikha took the stage and performed his popular ‘Pistol’ tune. Kent and Flosso (Voltage Music) followed next and later Tabu Flow dance crew who had an energetic performance.
With more energy, Maurice Kirya hit the stage at 10:40 PM and just added onto the crowd’s excitement as he sang ‘Work It Out’, ‘Kyoyagala’ alongside Hip Hop sensation Bigtril, and ‘Never Been Loved Before’ alongside guitarist Myko Ouma.
The crowd got crazier when he invited his elder brother Vampino with whom they performed his (Vampino’s) ‘Smart Wire’ song and later performed their brand new collabo ‘Nyongera’ and later Maurice concluded his performance with the fans’ favourite ‘Busaabala’.
Another round of entertainment saw more Dj mixes from Dj Roja and Party Pipo dance crew showcase their dance skills as they gave room for the final performer Sheebah Karungi who stepped on stage at 11:33 PM.
Sheebah was welcomed with a lot of ululations from the crowd and without a waste of time, she sang her ‘Tunywe’, ‘Kisasi Kimu’, ‘Wadawa’ and ‘Nkwatako’. As she performed, she also showcased her dancing skills doing those erotic dance moves as the crowd cheered her on.
In a nut shell, The Club Dome event at was a success. A special round of applause to Club Beer who didn’t only bring the artistes to entertain the crowd but also lots of games like Pool and table football.
