The Qwela Junction is a quarterly musical collaborative concert by Qwela Band featuring top instrumentalists collaborating with each other.
For music lovers and particularly live band and Jazz enthusiasts, you may be familiar with the these names especially after the last of such collaborative concerts ‘The Guitar Maestros’ turned to be a huge success earlier this year at Kampala Serena Hotel
However, this time round the organizers have assembled the top Saxophonists in the country for a mission to serenade fans this weekend dubbed the Sax Aces which features Joe Kahiri, Joseph Sax, Mo Roots, Micheal Kitanda, Happy Kyazze, Brian Mugenyi and veteran Moses Matovu on 30th August at Kampala Serena Hotel.
“For along time musicians are known to be shabby, rough and disorganized as they are usually involved in beefing and many other negative connotations. However, we have decided to come together and work as a team to show the public that, we can also be organised” Joe Kahiri one of the main brains behind the concert told www.chano8 in an exclusive interview.
