Making a name in Uganda’s entertainment industry is one thing but sustaining that name is completely another. Jose Chameleone has been regarded as a ‘faded’ musician by sections of Ugandans but the name he made long time ago has impacted everyone including the Buganda kingdom especially the second in command.
The Katikiro of Buganda, Charles Peter Mayiga surprised many when he showed that Ugandan music is one of the things he follows. Not only that, he showed that Jose Chameleon is among his best musicians in the country and keeps following whatever he does.
“The way Chameleon used to sing ten years back…he has to change, I watched his new song ‘Mateeka’ indeed it’s a massive jam and I love it… because I found out that he added unique ingredients”, the Katikiiro said.
With hundreds of songs the Leone Island boss, has, Katikiro said ‘Mateeka’ and indeed it’s his latest jam which he recorded a few months ago despite the fact that he has just released its video.
He said this while receiving 100 balls and shs10million from Bryan White through his charity foundation and the business tycoon was escorted by Chameleone himself, Pallaso, Weasel and other comedians affiliated to the foundation to endorse the Buganda Bika sports tournament.
“The greatest way to live with honour in this world is to be proud of your Tradition & Kingdom🌟🌟🌟
It Was an honor to endorse and officially open the Buganda 2018 Bika Tournament With the Katikiro Of Buganda CHARLES PETER MAYIGA” Bryan White later posted .
