Ugandan star Eddy Kenzo has come out and shown his frustration towards the envy within the music industry. He expressed himself in the language he knows best Luganda,
‘Nugu system is too much munsi yafe banange uganda twabaki ye? kale mpulira ogusungu.’
Loosely translated as, ‘Jealousy system is too much in our country, what happened to Ugandans? I feel so angry.’
In this world, some people find it hard to appreciate someone else’s success and often resort to envious ways. So we definitely know where Eddy Kenzo is coming from. After he was named as one of the five African artistes to look out for by UK newspaper the guardian, working on several collaborations with West African artistes like Gasha, Kcee and Patoranking, performing at the AFCON closing ceremony and commended by American Superstar Akon, he must have gained several new haters who don’t want to see him succeed.
