In a move aimed at relating more with artistes from different camps, several managers are contemplating on taking over different artistes for a period of six months.
The move has been initiated by Emma Carlos and backed up by Jeff Kiwa and Sam Mukasa.
According to Emma, who manages Khalifa Aganaga, the move is to see and relate more with artistes and it’s slated to kick off in three week’s time.
“I thought about this whole idea and when I talked to Jeff and Sam, they seemed interested. We are looking at three artistes for starters and our main aim is to see if we can get along with different artistes. If all goes well, we will be doing it for six months at least,” he said.
In case the move is executed, Sheebah will probably be managed by Emma Carlos, Sam will take on Khalifah while Jeff on the other hand will manage King Saha or the other way round.
The three are some of the best artiste managers in Uganda with Emma Carlos having previously managed Coco Finger, Wafagio and Spice Diana, Sam Mukasa was the main man behind Jose Chameleon’s music career for a period of ten years and more whereas Jeff has been there for artistes like Jose Chameleon before Sam took him on, then Goodlyf, Pallaso and Sheeba among others.
