For the ten years East Africa’s dynamic duo of Mowzey Radio and Weasel (RAW) spent working together, the work they put out speaks for its self and we would spend the whole day here trying to breakdown their 10 year music journey. Amongst the many things people will live to remember about Radio and Weasel is their energetic stage performance.
Talking about performing, Weasel did his first solo performance without Radio on the night of 2nd of February while at the late Radio’s last vigil that was held at Kololo airstrip where lots of artistes performed on one stage.
Although he strengthened himself and performed, it could be told that he was just forcing it because of the grief of having lost his friend, workmate, colleague and partner in crime as commonly said.
Weasel who promised to keep Goodlyfe’s fire burning despite Radio’s death had his second solo performance last night the 9th of February at singer ‘Spice Diana Live Concert’ that went down at Front Pages Hotel located in Namasuba.
As revellers cheered him on, Weasel performed songs like ‘Bomboclat’, ‘Wiggle’ and those alongside the late Radio like ‘Lwaki Onumya’ and a recent collabo with Spice Diana dubbed ‘Kyuma’ they recorded before Radio passed on.
He had a supportive back up of vocalists who helped him especially on Radio’s verses but still there was something lacking because of Radio’s permanent absentia despite the fact he thrilled the crowd.

Radio and Wesel released good songs which topped charts, won awards locally and internationally, graced big and small stages. In a nut shell, they have been East Africa’s darlings until the time Radio met his untimely death on Thursday the 1st of February 2018.
