Celebrated sports icon and Uganda Volleyball Federation president is totally disgruntled with theft of her ride by unknown thugs. Hadijja Namanda cannot stop wiping off the tears off her face after her car was stolen on Monday 9th July 2018 afternoon by yet to be identified people.
Namanda announced the loss of her car through her social media platform where she posted;
“What a mighty God I serve, My dear car stolen this Lunch time in a span of less than 5minutes at Game, UAH 561G Corona ST190 white in color. I thank God that we are all safe, was with the children, it could have been worse with these rampant kidnaps,” Namanda Posted.
The reigning Volleyball Federation President confirmed that her car a Corona ST 190 registration number UAH-561G, White in color was stolen from the Game Lugogo Mall packing at 1:30 pm and reported the matter of the Car theft at Kyadondo rugby Club police post reference number, 54/09/07/2018.
The first ever female president of the volleyball federation is however optimistic that her car will be recovered but at the moment she has resorted to pudding from home to work at the Uganda electoral commission offices at First Street.
However, Jinja Police station has vowed to track down the thugs that took off with Namanda’s car considering the theft cases at Kyadondo had reduced. These days to enter Kyadondo Rugby club, one must go through hectic security checks and be given an access card in case you have a car.
To our surprise, Security was caught on the wrong side and Namanda’s car disappeared mysteriously.
According to sources, her friends had advised her prior to the theft case that she should upgrade her car status since she became the president of the association but she had assured them that no matter what, she will remain with her old car.
