A Pass Fuses Old And New School Look In ‘Mariana’

Ugandan Dancehall sensation A Pass has a very bright future in music and at least according to what he has showcased for now, we are not wrong to say that he is one of the best Reggae Dancehall artistes the Pearl of Africa has. When it comes to doing music, he puts all his might on a project and no wonder his songs are dominating airwaves and are a main stay on fans’ play lists.

After successfully shooting and promoting his ‘Gamululu’ song project on which he features Jamaican dancehall singer Konshens, A Pass recently embarked on a new mission of making yet another fresh video for his song ‘Mariana’ which promises to be another big hit for the lanky singer.

Shot in a warehouse in Entebbe, the video for ‘Mariana’ was directed by Lukyamuzi Bashir (Badi World) and Alex Ireeta of Ivizualz. The video features guitarist and singer Myko Ouma and as is the case in the ‘Trouble Maker’ video, the ‘Wuuyo’ hit maker is seen pulling a classy look in the Moss Bros suit tailored in the United Kingdom and spotting an Afro hair style which was popular in the 70’s.

“The song and video concept was inspired by a mixture of old and new school themes” Said Maureen Asimwe A Pass’ sister who also doubles as his manager.

However when we tried to reach A Pass for a comment, he said he was busy but promised will get back to us soon although by press time he hadn’t. We however hope that the video will turn out a master piece and win him air play.
