Africa Laughs Meet And Greet Tonight At Laftaz As Stars Arrive For Show

Nigeria comedian Bovi Ugboma is in town a head of Tomorrows Mirinda sponsored Africa Laughs Comedy show at Serena Hotel Kampala. Bovi is a comedy and movies director, producer, actor, and writer from Delta State.

Bovi is popular for his role in Extended Family a Sitcom he produced, wrote, and packaged. He is also known for organizing popular stand-up comedy concerts like Bovi Man On Fire which achieved international acclaims.

“This is like home, I have always wanted to be here. I have many friends here and am sure I will even make many more,” said a jovial Bovi on his arrival at Entebbe Airport yesterday.

Bovi will be performing alongside Eddie Kadi from Congo, Ndumiso Lindi from South Africa, Carl Joshua Ncube from Zimbabwe, Eric Omondi from Kenya, Arthur Nkusi from Rwanda and a surprise act.

Locally, the show will be supported by Anne Kansiime, Alex Muhangi, Mad rat and Chico, Teacher Mpamire, Napoleone and Ronnie Mcvex.

The Africa Laughs show 2016 will be hosted by Idringi Salvado.

According to Timothy Luzinda the Brand Manager Mirinda, the lead sponsors of the show, there are so many surprises at the show.

“Mirinda is all about freeing your fun side, and that is exactly what we going to do tomorrow at Africa Laughs. All you need to do is come in time, take your sit and enjoy a marathon of rib cracking jokes, coming from across the African continent”. said Luzinda.

Tickets for the Africa Laughs show are at shs100, 000 and you can get them from any Nakumatt Uganda Ltd Store. According to the organizers, the show will start at 6:00pm at Serena Hotel Kampala.

A meet and greet party has also been organized for the fans this evening at Laftaz lounge in Centenary park along Jinja road. The party is expected to kick off at 6pm with more star expected to arrive by lunch time (Ugandan time).
