Airtel Uganda yesterday launched their ground breaking TV series dubbed ‘Together We Can’ which was unveiled to the public at Acacia Mall Rooftop aimed at helping individuals and communities. “Together We Can” offers a platform to celebrate humanity, while inspiring hope and enhancing the quality of life, the show will be hosted by the dynamic duo Junior Kazoora and Karitas Karisimbi.
The Airtel team will be going to different places looking for deserving people of the public to reward them after being recommended by members of that specific community. The rewards can be material or hard cash. “We are specifically interested in people who have been nominated by someone in their community as deserving of Airtel’s assistance’, Airtel Uganda’s managing director Tom Gutjhar said.
So far, Airtel has helped a 52 year old woman identified as Jajja Flora who lives in Kiira town-Wakiso and takes care of 17 children in hardship and without a proper source of income or job. It’s out of Airtel’s care, love and respect for humanity that they are currently putting up a good and spacious house for the old woman and supporting her adopted children with school necessities including school fees.
The TV series with about 52 episodes so far, will air on NTV, Bukedde and NBS television stations for the public to have a chance of watching the good work Airtel is doing in helping the needy.
