All roads lead to Kyadondo Rugby Club for Dr. Jose Chameleone’s East African Wale Wale Double Trouble concert. Everything looks set as the music Doctor, his children and his Leone Island band do the final stage rehearsals.
Silk events crew have also been putting final touches to the stage and sound this afternoon to make sure everything goes according to plan. All the technicians who looked very busy and excited at the same time have been tuning and testing the machines for the live performances and guitars and trumpets as well as key boards are tuned.
Security is already very tight at the venue with expert Dickson ‘Bond’ Okello making sure no stone in left upturned as the other operatives like Military Police, regular police and detectives patrol the area.
“Everything is set, we are ready to make history and want to make our fans happy tonight” Chameleone said
When Chano8 visited the venue this afternoon, everyone was driven out so that sniffer dogs and bomb experts could comb the arena for any dangers. After about an hour, the place was declared safe an immediately people allowed to enter.
Tickets were also being sold at the entry and some fans had started trickling in by 4 pm and taking seats on the soft grass while others took drinks and ate nyama choma.
The show brought to you by Pepsi, SMS ONE, Silk events and Capital FM kick off officially at 70pm. Entry is 10,000/= for ordinary tickets and 30,000/- for VIP.
