American Singer ‘Joe Thomas’ Set To Thrill Fans In Kampala This Week

American RnB Star Joe will be performing live in Kampala at the 7th Nile Gold Jazz Safari at the Kampala Serena Hotel.

The ‘I wanna Know’ star will perform alongside famous guitarist Norman Brown and several local artists at the event which will take place this Friday 3rd October.

The party begins on Wednesday 1st October at the Guvnor, where the stars of the NGJS will be hosted to an Exclusive “Meet and Greet” party.

For the ardent fan of Legendary R&B superstar Joe and Grammy Award Winner Pop Guitarist Norman Brown, the Guvnor event is a Must attend.

The catch, however, is that this star studded event is strictly by invite, where only 150 lucky guests, will be treated to plenty of Nile Gold, plenty of food and above all a lifetime opportunity to get “Up Close and personal” with these legendary stars.

“The Nile Gold Jazz Safari has not only delivered a great jazz experience every year, but has also contributed to the growth of jazz in Uganda.

“This year’s array of new headliners is a reflection of our commitment to granting our fans a musical experience that is beyond the ordinary,” Nile Gold Brand Manager Dorothy Muttu, said earlier.

Last year, over one thousand fans attended the 6thAnnual Nile Gold Jazz Safari to enjoy performances by Keith Sweat, Tom Braxton, John Blackwell Project and Michael ‘Patches’ Stewart. For the past six years, the festival has enjoyed unprecedented growth, consistently delivering stunning increases in attendance while attracting both locals and out-of-towners. This year the organizers are planning for one thousand two hundred fans

As in the previous year, Nile Gold which is associated with Jazz Safari in conjunction with the Uganda Rotary Cancer Program will support the construction of the Maureen Mugoya Cancer Ward, which will benefit the fight against cancer and also supplement the current limited facilities in the country in the prevention and treatment of common cancers and managing their effects according to organizers.
