Unbroken premieres today in Sydney, Australia.
The movie, which is directed by Angelina Jolie is based on a true story of Louis Zamperini, an Olympic runner who was taken prisoner by Japanese forces during World War II.
It shows a story of survival, resilience, and redemption.
Angelina Jolie, who is married to Brad Pitt gushes about the movie saying that her children, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne, want to see the movie.
‘Shiloh came to his funeral and he’s very connected emotionally to him and so she wants to see it most of all,‘ the Maleficent star said.
‘They’re all very emotional about the story and I look forward to them seeing it because I think it’s very good for children, it’s got good messages.’
Angelina arrived at the premiere alongside her husband Brad Pitt and they could be seen talking and taking selfies with fans.
Unbroken is scheduled for a US release on December 25 and January 15 in Australia.
