Angella Katatumba To Entertain Fans At Dad’s Book Launch Tonight

She has been a bit quiet in the music scene in the recent past, but Angella Katatumba is making some kind of come back with new projects coming up thick and fast. Tonight, she will be supporting her father H.E Boney Katatumba a Consul General at Pakistan Consulate in Uganda, during his book launch at The HUB Oasis Mall, Kampala.

Katatumba a diplomat who is also a successful businessman for a long time and CEO Katatumba Group of companies is the owner of Hotel Diplomat in Tank Hill Muyenga, is launching his latest book ‘Success is Guaranteed’ in which he talks about challenges one goes through especially in business  and still emerges on top successfully.


Angella Katatumba ready for tonight

Being the only daughter in a family of eight, Angella is so close to her father and has been working with him closely helping in managing the family’s business entities. She is a talented singer and song writer   who sings mostly about issues affecting society and highlights the plight of underprivileged people.  Her caring and loving nature has often times driven her into forming charity activities and heading campaigns to fight vices like corruption that has deprived many of a good life and championing featuring peace reconciliation and help for the needy.

“It’s been interesting so far. I am extremely passionate about music and I am simply running my marathon race. I want to be a solid musician who will still make music and sell out venues even in my 70’s.”She told Chano8 in a recent exclusive interview.


H.E Boney Katatumba to launch book

Angella who works under the umbrella of her Charity Organisations is also the founder of Angella Katatumba Development Foundation that was started to raise funds to help the needy people in northern Uganda a part that has been affected by wars and unsettlement for the past 23 years as she.

Tonight, she is expected to perform songs like ‘Let Me’, ‘Peace’, ‘I Live for You’, ‘For You Gulu’, ‘Let Me’ and ‘Sikyetaga’ among others. The event kicks off at 6 pm during the Authors’ Forum and is organised by World of Inspiration. Entry fee is 40,000/=
