Anne Kansiime Apologizes For Missing The UNAA Festival

Anne Kansiime who was ranked the number one celebrity in Uganda by New Vision’s ‘The Beat’ Magazine, has apologized to fans in USA.

The comedian has been at the peak of her game, selling out concerts in her African tours and had a clinic named after her in Zambia.

The Ugandans living in North America have been ecstatic about the Uganda North American Festival because they would get a chance to see their local celebrities.

The festival, which will run from August 29th to 1st September will have performances from Iryn Namubiru, Desire Luzinda, Eddy Kenzo, Angella Kalule, and Dr. Hilderman among others.

Anne Kansiime who was supposed to be one of the star performers at the UNAA festival took to social media to share her frustration:

‘Deeply sad.’
“My dearest ninjaz in San Diego am terribly sorry Iam unable to be with you tomorrow for UNNA causes. Viza came in too late to travel. But on a bright side, I got it now and am looking forward to making it all up to you when i travel there REAL SOON. I will greatly miss you all.” Shared blessings.”

The Festival, which is organized by Ugandan North American Association (UNAA) aims at giving a platform to help promote talent, culture, music and dances of Uganda. The festival also has a philanthropic touch to it as the some of the proceeds will be used to promote cancer awareness within the Ugandan community.
