Just like local media houses are in interested in the Ghetto President Bobi Wine, international media houses are too. London based Media house and one of the oldest news houses BBC and Belgian based Radio and TV station VRT recently paid a visit to Bobi at his Fire Base Crew head quarters in Kamwokya in a single day.
Although the general elections are done, Bobi Wine was one of the few musicians who were advocating for peace all through the election season. He released a song ‘Dembe’ literally meaning peace which was full of messages of peace and unity as we go voting. The ‘Mazzi Mawanvu’ singer hosted the two media houses one after the other where they conducted a live stream interview.
“I emphasised my call for peace, tolerance and restraint from any acts of electoral violence .My message goes to all Ugandans, the leaders and voters.”Bobi Wine shared on his facebook wall.
Peace is all every Ugandan wants and we hope Bobi Wine keeps on inspiring it through his songs full of messages of unity, one love and peace.
