Artistes, Celebrities Overwhelm Juliana With Support At Son Keron’s Burial

It was a sombre mood right from the church at the requiem mass in All Saints church Nakasero, when friends and family gathered to pay their last respects to Singer Juliana Kanyomozi’s only son Keron Raphael Kabugo who passed away last Sunday morning at the Agha Khan Hospital in Nairobi where he was battling asthma. 11-year old Keron was a Primary Six pupil at Aga Khan Primary School.

There was a big number of Musicians, Local celebrities and corporates who turned up to give their support to Juliana and Amon Kabugo as they sent their son to rest and ‘sleep well’. The general public has also been in support with social media awash with tributes and messages of support to the family.

A number of the artists and celebrities who showed up at the burial of Keron where he was laid to rest at his father’s ancestral home in Kiryagonja included, Promoter Balaam Barugahare, Peter Miles, Navio, Mariam Ndagire, Karitas Karisimbi, Rema Namakula, Mulangira Ssuna, Ray Signature, Annet Nandujja, Zuena Kirema, Producer Just Jose, Nince Henry, Raga Dee Sam Yiga, Team no sleep member Sheebah Karungi, Catherine Kusasira(The locals called her auntie Kabina) and Roger Mugisha who is a close friend of Amon and was also MC as well as a member of the organising committee.

There were also mourners from the corporate world including MTN Uganda Marketing and Sponsorship Manager Andrew Kagonyera and Tina Byaruhanga from Buzz media.

Amon Lukwago who described his son as a ‘bright’ and ‘strong boy’ relayed the last moments of his son and described how he breathed his last as he held his hand.

There was drama when the villagers saw Golola Moses walking towards the burial site. They got excited and went into frenzy. They kept cheering him and shouting “Golola, Golola, our man”

Ghetto president Bobi Wine who turned up late, also arrived with pomp as he came with a full ‘battalion’ of his Ghetto crew.

Children from Edgar’s youth Academy where Keron was a member, carried symbolic balls as tribute as the artists carried wreaths which were laid on the grave.
