On Sunday afternoon, Uganda Revenue Authority held its TIN Bonanza at Namboole stadium where tax payers registered their TIN numbers for free besides winning several presents that included motor bikes, Flat screens, mobile phones, AC machines among others.
However, it was the entertainment from several music artistes that kept the crowd on their feet. Geoffrey Luutaya and his Wife Irene Namatovu were among the first acts on stage at 3pm before Pallaso came next. He performed almost all his songs and midway his time, called two of his Team Good Music artistes to also have their share of the already fired up crowd. “Do you really want to know why I almost fought at Busabala? I also want upcoming artistes to shine. I’ve been there and I know the hustles.” He said before continuing to entertain.
It was then that Magic Empire artistes Denzo, Marry Batta and Ziza Bafana took to the stage and performed for close to 20minutes.
Herbert Ssegujja as always was on point with his Museveni antics. He complimented new URA Boss Doris Akol for the excellent work done so far.
Just like the adage that says ‘Save the best for last’ all the key performances came past 9pm back to back with artistes such as Bobi Wine, Gravity Omutujju, Navio, Cindy as well as Jose Chameleon.
It was a well-attended event that saw the crowd register their TIN numbers, eat and also watch great artistes for free.
