Hate him or love him, Bebe Cool will always have that one song that will drive you off your feet to the dance floor and just when everyone thought he had exhausted all his abilities in ‘Love you every day’ which is still one of the best songs he has done, the Gagamel boss is back at it again with ‘Kabulengane.’
With the track being barely two days old, I rate it highly because the production is on point, execution is perfect and timing well suited going by the fact that he is soon having his long awaited ‘Life of Bebe Cool’ concert.
And to have a successful concert especially on Uganda’s music scene, all an artiste needs is just three hit songs and already the ‘Anything for you’ artiste has three songs out besides his latest one in ‘Taata’, Abadilibada’ and ‘Ki Ekiganye’ which by the way is still topping most countdowns on radio and club hangouts with it’s video being one of the most requested.
But if you have been an ardent Bebe Cool follower, this is not the first song of this kind in his music career as he once released ‘Jajange’, a collaboration they did with Annet Nandujja. The song was a massive hit in that, he sometimes still performs it even though it’s more than eight years old.
Why I insist Kabulengane is going to be a hit is because, he has once again stepped out of his comfort zone and done something that most people didn’t expect him to. Just like what Aziz Azion did in ‘I’m bad’ and Navio in ‘Njogereza’- out of their comfort zones. Big ups!
