Why Bebe Cool Replaced Kenya’s Nameless

For the past two years, Kenya’s top artiste Nameless has been in Uganda twice. The first time being at ‘Tula Kumukeka’ event and then during Magic Washington’s 20th Anniversary at Casablanca Bar and restaurant.

But the Kenyan musician who has made a name for himself in Uganda with songs such as ‘Nasinziya’, ‘Salari’, ‘Kiwojolo’ among others, was supposed to be back to the Pearl of Africa yesterday for the ‘Comedy Store’ event at Diners Lounge in Bukoto but he was removed from the poster that was doing rounds before he cancelled the trip because he was unwell.

“I was really looking forward to this Ugandan show with Eric Omondi. Unfortunately, I will NOT be able to make it due to doctor’s orders. Been admitted in hospital since last week… Still undergoing treatment and observation and thus looks like I can’t make it to Kampala. However I have talked with the promoters there and for sure we will organize another Kenyan Takeover once I get better.” He communicated.

Alex Muhangi decided to substitute Nameless with Bebe Cool who entertained the crowd along with Eric Omondi, Madrat and Chico, Amooti, Mariachi, T-Amale, Snake and Zoro, Dikhanio and Jaja Bruce among others.
