A few weeks ago as he was performing at the Swangz All Star concert, veteran musician Bebe Cool faced it rough after angry ‘People Power’ fans threw empty bottles at him all because of his silence on the alleged brutal treatment and imprisonment of fellow artiste Bobi Wine those days.
Following that incident which Bebe said wasn’t called for, he put a halt on public performances which made the bottle throwers brag how they had taught him a lesson. They actually threatened to keep throwing bottles at him at any of his public performances but this hasn’t happened since he hasn’t performed anywhere from then.
Today Saturday the 22nd of September, rapper Gravity Omutujju is set to host his fans at Lugogo Cricket Oval for his ‘Embuzi Zakutudde’ concert and the self proclaimed Big Size Bebe Cool is one of the artistes who were announced to show headline.
At first fans thought Gravity was just hyping his concert by announcing Bebe who recently stopped public performances but from the look of things, the ‘Love You Every Day’ singer is set to perform no matter what.
“YOUNG,confident and energetic hard-core Gravity Omutujju today at Lugogo cricket oval. Let’s all support. I will be there.” Bebe Cool wrote on his social media platforms before daring the People Power fans to come again.
“Kati mwe abobucupa ndowoza mutegeke tan” Bebe added which is Luganda for ‘I think bottle throwers better prepare a whole tan of them’
Leaving alone the the fact that Bebe was announcing his appearance at Gravity’s concert, this is also another way of promoting his upcoming song titled ‘Nsilikamu’.
The Embuzi Zakutudde concert is on today and now that that Bebe has made it clear that he will be there crook or hook, let us wait to see the drama.
