On Saturday the 23rd of May, tens of thousands of Jamaican music lovers all over the world were all eyes on the Kingston, Jamaica based Verzuz TV Instagram account where the highly anticipated live music battle between two Dancehall music legends Beenie Man and Bounty Killer was broadcast live.
Regarded as Verzuz TV’s most exciting session so far, the two celebrated singers were able to perform for their watching fans, delivering their classic hits that they have through the many years of doing music been known for, making it seem like a real live concert but without revellers
Bounty Killer real name Rodney Price and Beenie Man Moses Davis came dressed to kill ready to do what they do best behind the microphone in twenty rounds. Each had their own Djs and a female dancer to spice up things more.
Although at some point the Police attempted to stop the live stream, Beenie was able to handle the situation and manage convince the cops to let them go on
The live stream was also viewed by the Prime of Jamaica The Most Honourable Andrew Holness who tweeted and said “Jamaica’s culture is global” and shared a screenshot of the action
