As we write this, the family, friends, movie lovers and the world at large are mourning the death of American actor Chadwick Boseman who after 4 years of battling Colon Cancer, breathed his last on Saturday the 29th of August.
Aged 43 at the time of this untimely death, Boseman was home in Los Angeles with his wife and family, according to a statement posted on his official 1.9 million followers Twitter account.
“A true fighter, Chadwick Persevered through it all and brought you so many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy” The statement read.
Bringing the T’Challa/Black Panther character in the 2018 groundbreaking movie ‘Black Panther’ was an honor for Chadwick’s acting career.
Following his stage three Colon Cancer diagnosis which later progressed to stage four thus claiming his dear life, Chadwick had not come out to publicly talk about it until when the statement from his publicist was released, moments after he had passed on.
From the time the sad news broke, social media has been and is still full of eulogies from fans of late who has been a superhero to many and we shall always remember him for starring in movies like Avenger: Infinity War, Avengers: End Game, Marshall, 21 Bridges, Da 5 Bloods among others.
