Bobi Wine’s Wife Barbie Inspires Malaba Girls To Fight HIV/AIDS

Doing good things for local communities and charity is one thing a few people usually involve themselves in because of challenges that come with it and also the will to do those things is something special that few people have because it involves a lot of compassion and affection. In a nut shell, it all starts with a kind and willing heart.

In relation to that, Ghetto president Bobi Wine’s wife Barbie Kyagulangi Itungo is one of the people doing good things for people going by what is on record especially in social media.

Through the ‘Girls Kisoboka’ a country wide tour and campaign run buy Public Health Ambassadors Uganda (PHAU) which aims at increasing access to quality HIV Prevention services for young women and girls, the young girls from Malaba were privileged to be briefed by Barbie who taught them different things concerning the monster HIV and how to fight the scourge.

“I looked at my reflection in the mirror before I walked out of my hotel room and said to myself, you have come a long way girl. It’s been a lot of sacrifices and painful choices but it’s all worth it. I walked to the entrance, took this photo and walked to the #girlsKisoboka campaign in Malaba all feeling energised to inspire girls that have faith in themselves. We are out here In Malaba inspiring young girls to believe in themselves and keep focused.” Barbie wrote on her social media platform after the Malaba visit.

The fight against HIV and Aids is what everyone should put in mind because it obvious Aids has consumed many lives of Ugandans and we say thank you to Barbie for this campaign she has chosen to undertake.
