On Tuesday morning, the youngest brother to musician-turned-politician Bobi Wine, Dax Vibez (a local singer) took to his official Facebook page and asked the public to help him find his car that was stolen around 5 AM that day.
His Toyota Noah registration number UAU 272W was stolen around Bahai Temple in Kisaasi, Kampala.

After many hours, Dax received a phone call from a one Kinobe who told him that one of his guards had found the car whose specifications Dax described to him on phone, abandoned near his building in Kungu, Wakiso district
“The Good Lord I serve loves me in excess, our war bus is back . About 17hrs today a one Simon Peter M. Kinobe gave me a call asking me about an abandoned car on his building site in Kungu Manchester Road and I gave him the specifics and he confirmed that it was found by one of his guards in the morning and then got my number from my Twitter post” Dax posted on his Facebook page
Happy Dax thanked God, social media users and all media houses for helping him find the car which serves as his manin means of transport.
The police report of 2020 shows that motor vehicle thefts and robberies in the country are on the rise as 700 cars are stolen every year.
Statistics for 2019, 2018 and 2017 show a total of 2,413 vehicles were stolen in Kampala metropolitan that covers the city, Wakiso and Mukono district.
