Rafsanjan Abbey Tatya, the show host who claims to be a pioneer of Uganda’s showbiz industry has confirmed that the show will be back on air starting on 26th March at 6:30PM.
The first person he will host after resuming the show from a tourism project break will be singer Jose Chamelone himself.
Rafsanjan, who has been involved in the music and entertainment industry for a very long time has also been among other things, a club dj, events MC and entertainment writer. He hosted Celeb Shed for a sometime and it had become extremely popular in 2012 before starting tourism projects in which he made wildlife and nature conservation documentaries and such related projects.
“WELCOME BACK: A few weeks ago I met Jose Chameleone & he told me he was super excited about my projects in Tourism/Travel & Conservation. I told him Tourism is my LOVE but I still follow whats up in the showbiz world (coz I was heavily involved in creatin that shit in UG) and in fact I’ve decided to bring back my TV show CELEB SHED on UBC TV. He was simply amazed but I also asked him to join the Tourism world because international stars Kiprotich, himself, Amito, Cranes & the like are very important in improving the image of this beaten country. AND ladies and gents am now happy to announce that Celeb Shed is back startin tomoro 6:30pm and we start wth Chameleone interview…plus Chameleone has accepted to become the ambassador of Busoga Tourism Initiative startin wth the annual Kagulu Rock-Climbing Challenge. Oh, it’s written in the stars…” Rafsanjan posted on his Facebook page on Tuesday
Chameleone is expected to talk about his long music career, family and the upcoming Tubonge Live East African Concert slated for 28th March 2014 at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala. Celeb Shed which is an entertainment show mostly has an interview, countdown, news makers and controversies happening around the country in the entertainment world. It was however popular with fans because of the nature of the host pitting celebrities against each other in a face off on topical issues to do with wealth, relevance, crews, originality, fan-base and even families.
