In a few weeks time, artistes Jose Chameleone and Sheebah Karungi will be boarding the next plane that will see them land in Donald Trump land as it has been revealed that the two will be the main headliners of the 30thAugust to 2nd September edition of the Uganda North American Association Convention (UNAA) in Seattle Washington at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue.
According to the organizers of the convention, Chano8 has been informed that the artistes were chosen because of the hard work they have been putting in to see the music industry grow to the level it is now.
The UNAA Convention is the largest non-political formal association of Ugandans living in the diaspora. Their major objective of the organization is to “Promote the Social, Cultural and Economic Development of the Ugandan Community in North America and beyond.”
The Ugandan Community in North America has over 120,000 individuals and they gather annually at the UNAA Convention to interact and discuss various issues happening back home in Uganda.
