Chameleone, Tamba And Sam Kimera Set For Roast and Rhyme Story Teller’s Edition This Weekend

Because it is the Story Teller’s edition, artistes that are lined up to perform at this specific edition of Roast and Rhyme definitely have something special to tell the world.

This is going to be the first time they are performing at this stage and this calls for some excitement. Sam Kimera, Tamba and legendary Jose Chameleone will be gracing the Roast and Rhyme stage this Sunday at Jahazi Pier Munyonyo as anticipation builds for the picnic themed event.

But among the performers on the line up, it is Jose Chameleone who is expected to excite revelers more reason being that it has been a while since he has performed in Kampala at any major concert and also because of his new love for politics which has been eating on most of his social life as well as music career.

The Leone Island boss is expected to perform mostly his old jams that people have taken ages without listening to and to mention a few, they include ‘Maama Mia’, ‘Kipepeo’, ‘Dorotia’, ‘Kuma obwesigwa’ and ‘Nekolera maali’’ among others which have lots of stories about his music and love journey so far.

Gospel singer Sam Kimera and little known Tamba will also take advantage of the opportunity to showcase what they have up their sleeves. Still about the event comedian Patrick ‘Salvado’ Idringi is also set for the first time to be the host at this edition which has been done by Roger Mugisha.

Kimera will be doing his thing at the Roast And Rhyme on Sunday at Jahazi Pier.

Roast and Rhyme is a family event that happens at Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo with activities such as roasting meat, bouncing castles for the children, face painting and live performances from artistes. It happens thrice a year and is sponsored by Bell lager under their Bell Jamz platform.

Entrance to the event is at 50k. and revelers are allowed to carry their own meat and roast at the event as gates open as early as midday.
