‘Am Clean’ – Promoterr Balaam Declares Accountability For Radio’s Funeral Expenses

In this era where corruption has become the order of the day, it is very difficult for many to come clean especially where public funds are concerned. However, Promoter Balaam Barugahara decided to be different after being at the helm of organising singer Mowzey Radio’s funeral and burial.

Goodlyfe’s  Mowzey Radio died on Thursday, February 1st at Case Hospital in Wandegeya after succumbing to injuries in the head which he good after a bar brawl in Entebbe. He had blood clot which eventually turned fatal and killed him in the wee hours of Thursday last week. He was then buried in Kagga-Nakawuka off Entebbe Road on Saturday, February 3rd.

Radio who was one of the best vocalists in the country was killed in a bar brawl.

Balaam who has been their promoter and also chairs the promoters group was the main man during Mowzey’s last moments in hospital and also was in charge of funeral arrangements alongside family members and other key musicians like Jose Chameleone and Mowzey’s singing partner Weasel.

And as a result, he handled huge amounts of cash in form of contributions for clearing hospital bills and funeral expenses from the public and also key figures like President Yoweri Museveni and socialite Bryan White. This must have been the reason he decided to make his accountability public to avoid any controversies and social media backlash as has become the norm these days. His full statement is below;

Bryan White (R) contributed Sh. 25million towards Radio’s hospital bills and also added Shs.10million for burial expenses
