Comedian Salvado Idringi Shortlisted Among World’s Top 20 Comedians

Comedian Salvado Idringi is one of the top funniest men in Uganda and those who know him will testify that when it comes to cracking jokes which is his career,it is not just a joke. The self proclaimed Man from Ombokolo is currently counting days to take on the other 19 comedians across the world to be World’s Funniest man.

Salvado to tussle it out with other 19 comedians to be World’s funniest man

Organised by America’s based Laugh Factory  lead by Jamie Masada, the first ever competition saw comedians from 32 countries tussle it out and this year’s edition had 56 who were trimmed down to the final 20 awaiting to tussle it again come December 4th to 10th in Helsinki-Finland.

For some time now, there was an online voting as the 56 competitors urged their fans to vote for them and criteria followed in choosing the top 20 was based on the number of votes. Our very own Salvado Idringi made it to the top 20 who are going to battle for the title of the best of the best.


Salvado is set to face tight competition as he tussles it out with 19 comedians to become world’s number one

This competition has provided a platform for these 20 comedians who will each walk away with 1000 dollars on the final day. The first and second runners up will also walk home with 10,000 and 5,000 dollars respectively whereas the winner will take 100,000 dollars
