Contestants Showcase Their Talent As Miss Uganda 2019 Grand Finale Draws Closer

This Friday the 26th of July will officially mark the end of Miss Quiin Abenakyo’s time in office as Miss Uganda. A new queen will be crowned from the 22 contestants who are in their final days in the boot camp

Like you already know, the girls do not just sit in the boot camp and slay, they are rather engaged in different activities which impact on their lives even when they are gone, They are also given a chance to showcase their talents publicly through the ‘Miss Uganda Talent Night’

Hosted by one of contestants, one Nyamate Mariam, it successfully took place Last Thursday night at Kampala Sheraton Hotel Pool Side where the 22 beauties showcased what each had prepared to for the crowd to see and appreciate.

It was however not about showing off their talents to the excited crowd but they also had to impress to the judges who were seated in front of the stage awarding marks.

The action-packed function saw the girls showcase talents in poetry, singing, dancing, acting, fashion designing, sports, humour, radio and TV news anchoring, emceeing and makeup artistry. While they did their thing, the crowd which was a mixture of well wishers and fans of each of the 22 girls, was heard cheering them up in show of support

There was also a surprise performance from singer Nina Roz who did not disappoint but stage an amazing performance performing two songs ‘Olumya Bano’ and ‘Gwongeleyo’ as fans danced and sang along

This Year’s Miss Uganda Is powered by Talent Africa and MTN and the grand finale is set for Friday the 26th of July at Sheraton Hotel Gardens
