Gravity Omutujju being the first artiste to perform at exactly 9pm, the long awaited ‘Born To Win Concert’ featuring Tanzanian born music star and baby dad to our own Ugandan socialite Zari Diamond Platinumz and Nigerian dancehall guru Patoranking came to pass last night.
Shortly after Gravity’s performance, Atlas the African was next and he showcased his rap talents which left the revelers yearning for more. NTV Uganda who were one of the sponsoring companies, officially launched their new sister TV station, ‘Spark TV’
This one TV is to cater for the ladies’ interests and it will be showing TV shows for women. Ray Signature who is the station’s brand ambassador was the third artiste to take the stage.
That is when Fille joined him and together they performed their ‘Gwe Asinga’ track that made the crowd which was continuing to grow bigger in number swinging in excitement. It even got more thrilling when Cindy took the stage.
Like you know her on almost all the events she has performed at, she never forgets dancers behind. Dressed in a white shirt and hot pants alongside four dancers, they all made the crowd wilder. Hip hop Star Navio also joined her on stage.
They took the revelers on a journey of serious entertainment performing their ‘Ndi Mukodo’ hit. Their performance really excited the crowd and one could tell from how they were jumping up and screaming loud.
At 10:14 pm one of the biggest and anticipated performers of the night Diamond Platinumz who also came along with dancers, took the stage. Performing songs Like ‘Number One’, ‘Ntampata Wapi’ among many others, Platinumz made the revelers dance to and sing along his songs as he performed live.
At 11,10pm, Pato Ranking took stage s he wearing the Ugandan flag across his neck in a real dancehall energy, performing songs like ‘Girlie O’, ‘Chukwumwa’ and ‘My Woman’ that made his performance even more enjoyable.
He was joined on stage by the Ghetto Kids who he later joined and they danced to the melodies as the crowd cheered them on.
He for sure entertained the crowd, “I swear I love you to the max, in my career, I will always come back”, Patoranking said as he left the stage at exactly 11:58 pm
