“Diamond Platnumz has already been confirmed that he will be the main performer of this year’s concert and he will perform alongside other big artistes,” said KCCA director Jennifer Musisi as she was launching this year’s programme that will take place on October 6th to 8th.
She added that this year’s carnival is going to be different because this time round it’s going to be a three day event because the concert will be aimed at raising funds to renovate and refurbish KCCA dilapidated schools in the various divisions.
The whole event according to Jennifer Musisi will cost Ug Shs 1.3b which will be retrieved from the sponsors.
The event will also attract other performers from Nigeria like E-Ben, PU, Martin T-Kay and Farlon Lyte from Zimbabwe. These are all gospel artistes and they will be performing for people who are saved on a certain stage courtesy of the Christ Embassy.
Local musicians, like it has always been the case will be performing on different stages by different sponsors and some of these include Sheebah, Geosteady, Bebe Cool, Chameleone, Ziza Bafana, Gravity Omutujju, Lydia Jazmine, Goodlyfe and Cindy among others.
To access the main concert where Diamond Platnumz will be performing, one will need to part with 20k, 100k VIP and 3M for the tables.
